The Game of Life

This week has been all about the future of careers, budgets, and debt using percent knowledge.  We will wrap up our game of life next week with some discussion about debt payoff.  Then we are into Eureka Module 2: Arithmetic Operations including division of fractions.  We will begin with fraction division and then continue into decimal operations.

End-Of-Module Assessment Friday 10/16

End-of-Module Assessment is here! On Friday we will take the final assessment, finishing our time with ratios, rates, and percentages.

The students have been working on ways to solve percent questions in multiple ways (proportions, equivalent fractions, 10% is ___ so..., multiplying/dividing by the decimal equivalent, etc).

We will continue our thinking about percentages with discount and tax problems through this week.

We are looking forward to moving into rational numbers- decimal and fraction division.
